Chef Elise Kornack was the creator and co-owner of the Michelin-starred Take Root Restaurant, in Brooklyn, which she operated from 2013 to 2017. Chef Elise has been nominated for the James Beard “Rising Star Chef” award. She was named one of New York Magazine’s five “Best New Chefs NYC” in the 2015 annual edition of Where To Eat, as well as one of Conde Nast’s “10 Young Chefs To Watch” in 2016. She also appeared on Forbes Magazine’s and Zagat’s “30 Under 30” list. Visiting Wine Country for just one night, Chef Elise teams up with Robert Mondavi Winery Chef Jeff Mosher to present a dinner showcasing the winery’s Reserve and limited-edition “Spotlight” wines. You’ll meet and talk with both chefs as they create appetizers on the grill, then enjoy a delicious four-course dinner in our Margrit Mondavi Vineyard Room overlooking the famous To Kalon Vineyard.
