The Rutherford Dust Society presents the return of the original Rutherford Chili Ball.
Back by popular demand, this festive, family-friendly event will include entertainment for all ages, including a Chili Cook-off competition between vintners, growers, firefighters, chefs, and self-proclaimed chili connoisseurs of the Rutherford community. A live vote by attendees will decide who gets the ultimate glory and bragging rights for having the best chili in Rutherford!
Enjoy fun activities for the entire family ~ bouncy houses, lawn games, face painting and more. Dance to the lively tunes of The Fabulous Screwtops, known for their wide variety music, from Classic Rock, to Latin Pop, Motown, Country, R&B, Funk, Jazz and current dance hits.
Wines by RDS members and local beers will be available throughout the afternoon, complimented by a full BBQ spread by Black Bean BBQ. A silent auction will feature large format bottles of Rutherford wine, as well as tasting experiences throughout the appellation. A portion of proceeds of the event will go directly to local non-profits.
Ticket pricing is as follows:
General Admission 21+: $50 (includes 1 drink ticket and an RDS govino logo glass)
Ages 13 – 20: $25
Ages 6 – 12: $15
Ages 5 and under: FREE
