To Blend or Not to Blend: Cabernet Sauvignon and the Red Bordeaux Varieties
Our annual Wine Seminar is at Silver Oak Cellars, Oakville. Moderated by Michael Silacci, winemaker for Opus One, the seminar wines, both finished and in barrel, and chosen by their winemakers to illustrate the day's topic, are presented for discussion and tasting throughout the morning as we learn the history and diversity of blending and the philosophies of our morning's practitioners. Check-in at Silver Oak is at 9:30 am; Seminar begins at 10:00 am.
