The Napa Valley Wine Library presents its 25th Annual Winemakers Seminar on Saturday, August 9th from 9:00 am to Noon at CIA-Greystone, St. Helena.
The seminar this year features stellar winegrowers and winemakers discussing terroir, significant changes in vineyard management, the rising importance of designated vineyards and proprietary blends.
Andy Beckstoffer of Beckstoffer Vineyards; Larry Hyde of Hyde Vineyards, HdeV, and Larry Hyde & Sons; Julie Johnson of Tres Sabores, Mary Hall Maher of Harlan Estate, Bond and Napa Valley Reserve; Tegan Passalacqua of Turley Wine Cellars; and Kirk Venge of Venge Vineyards will all discuss terroir as they present their craft and its resulting wines. Q&As follow each presentation. John Thoreen, the Wine Tutor, will moderate the day.
A buffet lunch on the patios of nearby Chase Family Cellars follows the seminar.
