Enter the sculptured world of artist, Matt Gil -- where possibilities are as limitless as his fresh perspective and where conventional, commonplace objects morph into modish creations, providing a function beyond their forms.
A lover's kiss is immortalized into an aluminum materialization; the tufts of a chair reimagined in hot pink; a chicken's tail feathers, a lawnmower, times and places from childhood -- just some of the associations that are revealed in Gil's artistic makings. Ideas are born, worked into the physical, and emended until they are given a soul that Gil states, "will survive and live beyond me.'"
