This trip revolves around wine and fly fishing, but don't be fooled: if you don't fish there are plenty of other activities to keep you happy and pampered. In fact, every year some of our guests do not participate in the fishing portion and choose to go to the spa, hike, horseback ride, or read a book in their own private cabin in the mountains instead, joining us for just the wine events.
Along with Brian Lamborn, enjoy the amicable, knowledgeagble, and all around great-guy, Rudy von Strasser of von Strasser and Lava Vine wineries in Napa Valley. Rudy's wines, along with Lamborn, will be paired with the best local, artisan food the James Beard Award winning kitchen at Blackberry can come up with. Guided on and off property fishing trips, wine lunches and dinners, Q&A sessions, free time in the Smoky Mountains... you name it, this trip has it.
