HALL St. Helena has announced the date for its annual Kathryn Hall Release Party celebrating the 2014 vintage of its flagship Cabernet Sauvignon. The event will take place on Saturday, September 9, and will be held in the heart of Napa Valley at the site of the historic Bergfeld vineyard. Additionally, a unique Kathryn Hall Vertical Tasting hosted by winemaker Steve Leveque will take place prior to the main event.
Harvest came unusually early in 2014, says vintner Kathryn Hall. It allowed the wine to exude warmth, opulence and great fruit character. We are thrilled to be able to share it with our guests each year who are passionate about wine.
Bringing together winemakers, wine-lovers, fans, and foodies alike, guests will be invited to enjoy a sun-filled afternoon to sip on the newly released 2014 Kathryn Hall Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine was recently rated 93-96 pts in barrel by Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate.
Additionally, guests are invited to attend winemaker Steve Leveques annual Kathryn Hall Vertical Tasting showcasing wines from the 2009 through 2014 vintages. Guests will learn about the pedigree of this distinct Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is the pinnacle of HALLs blending efforts each year and is historically sourced from its prized Sacrashe Estate Vineyard. Northern Californias Cypress Grove Cheese will be also be providing artisnal cheese boards for guests to enjoy during the Cabernet tasting.
Entertainment will be provided by award winning country band, California Cowboys, an authentic, original band that energizes crowds with its three-part harmonies. Western style bites by Napa Valleys Feast Catering.
Tickets for the main event are $90 per person with an Early Bunny ticket option for $80 per person if purchased prior to August 18. Tickets for the Vertical Tasting are $225 per person and include admission to the main event. Additionally, there will be two regional Kathryn Hall Release Parties in both Boston on September 14 at the Taj Hotel, and in Denver on September 28 at the Ritz-Carlton.
