Since 2008, the St. Helena Star and the NVV have collaborated to host a monthly Napa Valley wine tasting with rotating panelists, including winemakers, assistant winemakers and key members of the wine trade. The wines are tasted blind, ranked and followed by a spirited conversation about the results. The tastings take place at the Napa Valley Vintners Sensory Classroom at the Rudd Center for Professional Wine Studies at The Culinary Institute of America at Greystone.
The St. Helena Star publishes insightful articles covering these tastings, focusing on grape varieties, wines from different locations and microclimates, winemaking styles and more. We hope you enjoy these articles and encourage you to check in for monthly updates.
