Thank you to everyone who completed our Napa Valley Rocks online course over the past month. We are happy to share that more than 130 sommeliers and members of wine trade throughout Ontario completed the training and have received a $100 gift LCBO gift card to purchase a bottle of Napa Valley Wine and share their wine moment with us on their social channels.

We are deeply saddened about the devastating impact that the Covid-19 pandemic is having on the restaurant and hospitality industries in Ontario and on you personally. We believe in supporting and championing the sommelier community in both good times and bad. Given that many of you may be home right now, our goal at the Napa Valley Vintners is to inspire, encourage and motivate you to continue on your wine education journey even in times of crisis.
In this spirit, we are reaching out to you to encourage and support you in your education by taking our "Napa Valley Rocks" online course. Complete it and we'll send you a $100 gift card to an LCBO store for you to purchase a bottle of Napa Valley wine. When you open the bottle at home, post it using #itsfromNapa and #CanadaLovesNapa so that we too can join in your special wine moment. This promotion is good through May 31, 2020 and is limited to the first 100 sommeliers who complete the course. LCBO gift cards will be sent out no later than June 30.

NVRs is an engaging online appellation training digging into what makes the Napa Valley America's premier winegrowing region. Explore the unique geological formation of the valley, why it is the ideal climate to grow grapes, historical milestones and the tradition of leadership that continues today. Napa Valley Rocks will further anyone's understanding of Napa Valley and its place within the world of wine.
During this 60-minute course, you'll learn what you need to know to confidently discuss the Napa Valley to members of the wine trade, consumers and the media. This course is designed for anyone, particularly winery employees, who speaks about the Napa Valley from front-line tasting room professionals to winemakers to winery principals.
We recommend that you start and finish the training in one sitting, however you may start the training now and finish at a later time only if you use the same device and you do not clear its cookies. It will take about 50 minutes to complete the training. At the end of the training, you'll find a link to a 26-question quiz, which should take an additional 10 minutes to complete.
Once you have completed the quiz, you'll be Napa Valley Rocks Certified. Please download and print your Certificate of Completion.
