This exciting program invites sommeliers from marquis restaurants to experience the best of what Napa Valley has to offer. Attendees learn about the unique geography, geology and climate that give Napa Valley its distinctive terroir while also meeting the people and learning about the history behind the wine.
Activities include vintner-led tours of the valley, focused tasting panels and themed meals that offer real facetime with Napa Valley's winemakers, viticulturists and vintners. The program, which is offered in partnership with the Guild of Sommeliers, also offers attendees opportunities to hone their professional skills.
Attendance is open to qualified individuals working as a sommelier in a fine dining restaurant who have obtained their certified sommelier credential.
