3/3/2026 - Saint Helena, CA - Tickets are now on sale for the Napa Valley Barrel Auction, a signature highlight of Auction Napa Valley weekend. New this year, guests may choose from three ticket options to the Napa Valley Barrel Auction: a VIP experience, a package designed for friend groups and an individual ticket. Full Auction Napa Valley Weekend Packages are also available.
“In response to the enthusiasm we’ve seen for the Barrel Auction, we’re excited to introduce new ticket options this year,” said Alan Viader, Winemaker and Director of Operations at Viader Vineyards & Winery and Barrel Auction Chair for Auction Napa Valley. “By expanding the offerings, we’re creating more ways for collectors, friends and longtime supporters to share in this dynamic day, while also welcoming new audiences to experience Auction Napa Valley for the first time.”
The Napa Valley Barrel Auction takes place Friday, June 5, 2026, at the newly reimagined Robert Mondavi Winery, opening in May.
Featuring more than 100 participating vintners, the Barrel Auction brings together wine enthusiasts and winemakers for a day of tasting wine directly from the barrel and bidding on lots. Guests will be among the first to sample wines from the 2024 vintage while connecting with the vintners behind them.

VIP Napa Valley Barrel Auction Package
This elevated two-day experience begins Thursday evening with a Vintner-Hosted Welcome Dinner, offering rare access to renowned vintners and remarkable wines followed by an incredible day at Friday's Barrel Auction.
Bring Friends to the Barrel Auction Package
Designed with friends in mind, this package offers the perfect opportunity to gather four friends and experience the Barrel Auction together.
Individual Barrel Auction Tickets
Individual tickets provide full Friday access to the Barrel Auction, including barrel tastings and participation in bidding.
All ticket options provide the opportunity to connect directly with winemakers and acquire sought-after wines. The packages were designed to engage a range of audiences, from longtime attendees and collectors to groups of friends and first-time attendees.
For those seeking the ultimate Napa Valley experience, full Auction Napa Valley Weekend Packages remain available in limited quantities. The full weekend includes Thursday and Friday night vintner-hosted dinners, the Napa Valley Barrel Auction and the Live Auction and Dinner Celebration at Inglenook.
Each bid placed throughout the weekend helps deliver measurable impact with proceeds from Auction Napa Valley benefiting Napa Valley Vintners’ Youth Wellness Initiative.
