11/3/2025 - Saint Helena, CA - Today, Napa Valley Vintners (NVV) announces an investment of $529,000 in support of Napa County families. This latest round of giving focuses on helping to create positive, nurturing environments for children at home and is part of NVV's broader Youth Wellness Initiative.
This follows NVV's announcement in August about $2 million in funding for programs on school campuses, and its announcement in September about $1.2 Million for youth afterschool programs. By meeting kids where they are, at school, in the community and at home, NVV aims to empower young people to live healthy, balanced lives.
Organizations receiving grants are dedicated to strengthening families through parent education and family support programs. Many of the nonprofits utilize the Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) curriculum, an accredited framework that is shown to improve parent-child relationships and support healthy child development. Programs also provide resources and referral services, connecting families to critical supports. Parents and professionals alike have seen the benefits firsthand.
Christie Johnston, a Napa Valley Unified School District social worker, shared, “The coparenting classes have been especially helpful for parents going through divorce. I had a 7-year-old client struggling with severe anxiety. After mom took Cope’s Family Transitions class, the daughter’s anxiety was much lower, communication improved and she didn’t feel caught in the middle anymore.”
These grants ensure that families across Napa County have access to the education, resources and support they need to thrive, creating a lasting impact for children and caregivers alike.
