1/16/2020 - St. Helena, CA – The board of directors of the Napa Valley Vintners (NVV) nonprofit association has elected Robin Baggett, owner and managing partner of Alpha Omega, as its chair for 2020. Jack Bittner, managing partner, Ovid Napa Valley, was elected vice-chair and Beth Novak Milliken, president and CEO, Spottswoode Estate Vineyard & Winery, was named secretary/treasurer.
“I am honored to be elected to serve as chair of one of the finest trade organizations in the world. For over 75 years, NVV has worked tirelessly to promote, protect and enhance the Napa Valley, including investing almost $200 million with local nonprofits to help build a better and healthier community,” noted Robin Bagget. “With a new decade comes an even stronger focus for NVV to be one of the best Napa neighbors possible as we aim to reach our goal of having all of our eligible members in the Napa Green program by the end of 2020.”
Other members of the 2020 NVV Board of Directors include Cyril Chappellet, president and CEO, Chappellet Vineyard; Andy Erickson, owner, Favia; Rick Jones, owner and manager, Jones Family Vineyards; Darioush Khaledi, proprietor, Darioush; Alycia Mondavi, CEO and co-proprietor, Aloft Wine; Doug Shafer, president, Shafer Vineyards; Pat Stotesbery, proprietor, Ladera Vineyards; and Delia Viader, CEO/CFO and founding winemaker, Viader Vineyards & Winery.
The NVV Board of Directors also serves as the Auction Napa Valley Board of Directors, along with board-appointed community members Bill Cary, Steven Fink, John Hamilton and Claire Stull.
