6/2/2018 - St. Helena, CA – The Napa Valley Vintners (NVV) is projecting more than $13.4 million in fundraising for its 38th annual Auction Napa Valley fundraiser when the online E-Auction closes tomorrow at noon PDT. Proceeds from this weekend’s events support the NVV’s more than two dozen community health and children’s education nonprofit partners.
“The world has been incredibly generous to our community the past nine months and that amazing spirit continued this weekend,” commented NVV Board of Directors Chair David Pearson of Opus One Winery. Pearson was referring to the more than 20,000 individuals and organizations that have collectively contributed more than $15 million to the Napa Valley Community Disaster Relief Fund since the October 2017 wildfires.
Since 1981, the NVV has invested $180 million in Napa County nonprofit organizations from Auction Napa Valley proceeds, including $68 million in the past five years alone. Auction funding touches the lives of more than 100,000 clients of the NVV’s community health and children’s education nonprofit partners.
NVV will release additional results, including top Live, Barrel and E-Auction lots on Sunday afternoon. Photos and a social media gallery of more than 2,500 posts of the weekend’s highlights are available at auctionnapavalley.org.
