4/5/2018 - St. Helena, CA—The Napa Valley Vintners (NVV) nonprofit association has recognized 94 restaurants as its 2018 Napa Valley Wine List Awards winners. The awards program honors local establishments that feature at least 50 selections or 50 percent of their wine offerings from Napa Valley.
The number of award winners has nearly tripled over the past five years, up from just 33 restaurants that were recognized in 2013.
In one of the world’s top food and wine destinations, the affinity for local ingredients and Napa Valley wines makes for a unique dining experience for visitors and locals alike. "Guests should expect a restaurant with this prestigious award to deliver food and hospitality that matches the high quality of Napa Valley wines, while embodying the spirit and history of our wine region,” noted Sasan Nayeri, owner of Evangeline in Calistoga.
When Napa Valley restaurants support local wineries, it helps contribute to the region’s economic vitality. The Napa Valley wine industry and related businesses create 46,000 local jobs and provide an economic impact of more than $13 billion in Napa County.
