6/3/2017 - St. Helena, CA - Auction Napa Valley, the Napa Valley Vintners’ (NVV) annual charity fundraiser, is on track to raise more than $15.5 million for community health and children’s education nonprofits. The NVV will announce final results from the 37th annual celebration of Napa Valley’s extraordinary wines, creative cuisine, generous hospitality and breathtaking scenery on Sunday, June 4 following the 12 p.m. PDT close of the global E-Auction.
“This weekend was Napa Valley at its best,” said Michael Honig, chair of the NVV Board of Directors and president of Honig Vineyard & Winery. “Friendships forged between our big-hearted bidders and vintners, fantastic wines, picture-perfect weather and a display of generosity that will help strengthen families in our community for years to come. We’re grateful to everyone involved, including this year’s honorary chairs, Eleanor, Francis, Sofia, Roman and Gia Coppola of Inglenook.”
Since 1981, the NVV has contributed $170 million to Napa County nonprofits from Auction Napa Valley proceeds. Last year alone, Auction funding touched the lives of more than 100,000 clients of 27 community health and children’s education organizations.
