7/17/2009 - St Helena, CA--The Napa Valley Vintners (NVV) non-profit trade association representing 350 member wineries in the renowned wine growing region announces today that their new blog is live at www.NapaVintners.com/blog The group is joining what many are calling a new era of communication, "The Age of Conversation" with a blog chronicling the legendary Napa Valley--its wines, vineyards and community. "But adding to the interest, the blog conversation will use photographs to tell a picture-story creating an evocative, and virtual, Napa Valley experience for the reader," said Terry Hall, NVV's communications director.
As the blog evolves, organizers say readers should keep an eye out for unfolding stories on the growing season and harvest, photos and posts by the region's vintners themselves along with pictorials and discussions on any and every topic regarding the Napa Valley wine community. Look for ever-changing content with postings every few days.
"Keeping up with all that's new in communications is critical in today's world--and though our trade association is celebrating 65 years this year, we are constantly looking to improve and refine our message and look forward to this exciting new media to reach wine lovers around the globe," said NVV Board President Paula Kornell.
