5/23/2008 - Napa Valley, CA- The Napa Valley Vintners (NVV) non-profit trade association announces the opening of the online component of the renowned Auction Napa Valley charity fundraiser.
As part of the Napa Valley Vintner's 28th annual Auction Napa Valley, the E-Auction component includes 88 online-only lots, the most ever, including private vintner dinners, wine country experiences, big bottles and luxury travel.
E-Auction lots can be previewed online, and consumers can register online to bid, at www.napavintners.com
Key dates for the E-Auction include:
May 23: E-Auction Launches and bidding begins.
June 6: E-Auction Closes and bidding ends.

Now more than ever, Auction Napa Valley is an excellent venue for collecting some of the world's most prized wines, direct from the source. Napa Valley's winemakers have generously donated 88 online-only lots for wine lovers who have dreamed of attending private vintner-hosted events, stays in private winery guest houses, cooking alongside a winery chef, blending wine, and adding rare bottles or entire collections to their cellars. With the E-Auction, participants can enjoy a virtual Napa Valley experience from anywhere in the world while supporting healthcare, affordable housing and youth service non-profits.
Bidding for the E-Auction begins May 23rd and ends June 6th when the action heats up with bidders at the Napa Valley auction event dueling with bidders from around the globe for these treasures. Bidders will be able to find out the real-time results via on-site screens at the auction or from the comfort of their own homes.
