V. Sattui Winery is a family-owned property located in the heart of Napa Valley, which was founded in 1885 and makes more than 60 different wines with dozens of 90+ point rated wines among its current vintages. It is a stunning, must-see Napa Valley destination for ultra-premium wine, artisan foods, picnics, wine & food pairings, weddings and events, offering an impressively robust Cheese Shop with more than 200 selections, an exceptional Deli directed by Chef Gerardo Sainato and Culinary Director Joe Schneider, and Salumeria directed by Michelin Star Chef Stefano Masanti who also oversees V. Sattui's special event and wedding menus. The sprawling estate includes two-dozen picnic tables nestled beneath ancient Valley Oak trees and tri-level terraces that overlook beautifully manicured gardens and vineyards. Multiple tasting venues offer an experience for everyone from the wine novice to the expert and also includes al fresco tasting overlooking their organically-farmed estate vineyard.
V. Sattui Director of Winemaking, Brooks Painter, has been recognized as “Winemaker of the Year” in 2015 by the American Fine Wine Competition. He was previously awarded “Winemaker of the Year” at the San Francisco International Wine Competition in June of 2013. In 2017 and again in 2018 V. Sattui was named “Winery of the Year" at the Winemaker Challenge. This marks the 15th time in the last decade the Winery has been given that honor at a major national competition. In addition, V. Sattui garnered “Best Wine of the Year and Best Red Wine” from the Winemaker Challenge for their 2014 Morisoli Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon.
V. Sattui wines are sustainably farmed (some from its own organic vineyard) and are sold exclusively from the winery, direct to consumer. V. Sattui Winery is located on a 38-acre vineyard in the center of the Napa Valley, along Highway 29 (at White Lane) in St. Helena.

Family Friendly Winery
V. Sattui prides itself on being warm and welcoming to everyone-- including kids, and dogs. Kids are allowed all over the property, and the 2 1/2 acres of shady picnic grounds are a great place for kids to let off some steam after watching their parents taste wine in the tasting room! Our deli has a wide range of house-made sandwiches, pastas and salads, and we have a wide selection of cured meats and cheeses, so creating a family-friendly picnic is easy. Also on weekends we have an outside BBQ with ribs, salmon, wood-fired pizzas, and even a fresh mozzarella (also made in-house) bar with toppings. Kids especially love V. Sattui's non-alcoholic grape juices - both still and sparkling. There is something special for everyone at V. Sattui Winery.
