Trinchero Family to Chair 2003 Napa Valley Wine Auction
3/28/2002 - St. Helena, California, - The Napa Valley Vintners today announced that one of Napa Valley's pioneering wine families, the Trincheros, will chair the 2003 Napa Valley Wine Auction.
"I am extremely pleased that our winery will chair the 2003 Napa Valley Wine Auction," says Roger Trinchero, President and Chief Operating Officer of Trinchero Family Estates. "We've supported the Wine Auction since its inception. My brother Bob and sister Vera, are honored and enthusiastic about playing a major role in an event that has contributed so much to our community."
Winery CEO Bob Trinchero helped found the Wine Auction when he was president of the Napa Valley Vintners in 1981.
The Napa Valley Wine Auction is the most successful wine charity event in the world. In 21 years, the auction has raised more than $36 million to aid Napa County nonprofit agencies working to improve the well being of local residents in the areas of health care, youth development and affordable housing.
The 2002 Napa Valley Wine Auction, scheduled June 6 - 9, is chaired by Robert Pecota and family.
