Napa Valley Vintners to Host Forum for Primary Election Candidates

Key issues facing Napa County residents to be addressed

4/28/2014 - St. Helena, CA—The Napa Valley Vintners nonprofit trade association (NVV) is hosting a candidates’ forum on Monday, May 5 starting at 5:30 p.m. for two local primary races: Napa County Supervisor, District 3 and California Assembly, District 4. The forum will be held at the Rutherford Grange Hall, 8550 St. Helena Highway in Rutherford, and is open to the public with no RSVP required.

California State Assembly, District 4 candidates Bill Dodd (D), Joe Krovoza (D), Charlie Schaupp (R) and Dan Wolk (D) will join Napa County Supervisor candidates Lewis Chilton and Diane Dillon (incumbent) for a candid conversation on the most pressing issues facing Napa County residents. The recently appointed editor of the Napa Valley Register, Sean Scully, will moderate and light refreshments will be served after the forum.

Although the NVV does not support individual candidates, the organization’s role in this forum is to create a climate of informed decision-making in choosing candidates for these two important political seats that will have a significant impact on the future of Napa County.
