George Taber, author of "Judgment of Paris," and Vintners Hall of Fame inductee Miljenko "Mike" Grgich, who is a major figure in the book, will be signing copies of the book in the Grgich Hills Estate tasting room from 2:30 to 4pm on September 21st, 2014.
Taber's book is the true story of the historic 1976 Paris Tasting that revolutionized the wine world. It also describes Mike Grgich's fascinating journey from communist Yugoslavia to arriving in the US, winning the Paris Tasting and founding what is now Grgich Hills Estate. In honor of his lifetime of winemaking achievements, Mike was inducted into the Vintners Hall of Fame in 2008.
