Please join us at Tres Sabores Winery for an extraordinary event: a quintet of creative spirits weaving together a most magical evening for your enjoyment. The evening begins..with a reception under the heritage oak, amid art created by Nimbus Arts. Then, let the feasting begin: you'll join all of our guests at the table set between the vines for dinner, prepared by GATHER, Chef extraordinaire, talented friend, and fellow Outstanding in the Field alumnus, Chef Sean Baker. We are indeed fortunate to ‘transport’ Chef Baker’ and his Berkeley-based restaurant team to Rutherford for the evening. Wines from Tres Sabores will accompany his farm fresh cuisine sourced from Tres Sabores and neighboring ranches.
Then, our party continues in the ancient olive grove at the very edge of the vineyard where Tanya Bello's Project.B. Contemporary Dance Company will premiere her new work: Site Lines. You will stroll along, viewing the dancers as they perform various dance pieces set in the benchland vineyard, amid the hillside vines, underneath the heritage oak, and on the crush pad. If you have never witnessed the special, reflected glow of sunset from the western Rutherford bench you are in for that delight but more, as Lighting Designer and the San Francisco Ballet's Lighting supervisor, Kevin Connaughton, brings his own special vision to the farm, illuminating the dancers' movements. The series of dances performed by Miss Bello’s troupe shift through dimensions of place, exploring movement and the migration of light across locale and elevation.
One can't possibly describe everything about this unique evening of food, wine, and performance art because, well simply, nobody has ever drawn all of these elements together to create such an extraordinary gathering before ---so the best answer to " I wonder....?" is to plan to attend!
