The Connoisseurs' Lunch Party
Andre Simon once said: A Connoisseur is one who knows and loves that which is good, beautiful, uncommon, interesting; everything that is the best of its kind and above all, genuine. This year we've asked Hiro Sone and Lissa Doumani of famed Terra Restaurant in St. Helena to prepare our American Classic lunch party. To us, Hiro and Lissa are the ultimate connoisseurs and represent all that is good, beautiful and hospitable about the Napa Valley, from its stunning landscape of vineyards and native forests to its world-renowned food and wines. We invite twenty of you to enjoy the best of Napa Valley with us and to allow us to thank you for your sense of community awareness and generosity in supporting Auction Napa Valley. Our party begins at 11:30 am with a winery tour led by long-time winemaker, Mike Chelini, followed by a wine tasting of Stony Hill's long-lived Chardonnays, White Rieslings and Gewurztraminers. Then at 12:45 we will sit down to our much anticipated lunch by our master chefs, Hiro and Lissa.

See The Road Less Travelled—Vineyard Tour and Lunch on Mount Veeder
Join us for an insider's look at the challenging and exceptional growing conditions on the rugged slopes of Mount Veeder. Tour our steep mountain estate, with 310 acres of vineyards, in a luxury hybrid-powered SUV. You'll see our herd of goats that manage the weeds and underbrush while learning about our sustainability programs. Prepare to be amazed by the incredible vistas of the Napa Valley and San Francisco Bay. Back at the winery enjoy a barrel tasting including a taste of our auction lot barrel. Then join us for a three-course lunch prepared by executive chef Chad Hendrickson, specially paired with Hess Collection Mt. Veeder wines, on the patio of the contemporary art museum, overlooking our estate. You will be hosted by winemaker Dave Guffy, viticulturist Sander Sheer and winery president and industry veteran Tom Selfridge. An optional art tour from 2-3PM with museum director Rob Ceballos will also be available.
